FOUNDERS:
 
In 1994 ProFauna Indonesia was founded by Rosek Nursahid and Made Astuti in Malang, East Java, who were moved by the scale of the decimation of Indonesian wildlife and the extreme cruelty behind the illegal wildlife trade.  ProFauna was founded to launch their crusade effectively.  Support has been well received from national and international concerns, who understand the urgency to curb further destruction to fauna diversity.
